Armored Core VI’s gameplay emphasizes mechanical-based vehicle combat. Players of this game will take on the role of adept pilots commanding powerful robots known as Armored Cores. The immense flexibility of modifying these robots using various parts allows players to improve and perfect their abilities.
The ability for the player to equip his robot with a variety of weapons is a prominent aspect of the game. One on each arm and two on the back of the robot have slots for these weapons. The player’s vast arsenal of weapons gives the user strategic freedom when it comes to combat.
The arena concept of the game’s predecessors remained the same and appeared through the “Fighting Skills Evaluation Program”. Players can test their skills and compete with other players in this mode. The in-game currency, Credits, is awarded to players who successfully complete missions. The amount of credits earned is influenced by goals completed in these missions, with potential deductions for unfinished goals.
Armored Core VI removed the debt system from previous games in the series, causing players to lose money when missions failed. This time, players have the option to perform the task as many times as they like without worrying about losing money.
