Deadpool is a third-person shooter and hack-and-slash action video game. The gameplay mainly consists of fighting enemies with both melee weapons and guns, with new combos becoming available to Deadpool as he continues the story and earns upgrade points. The game regularly breaks the fourth wall by allowing Deadpool to verbally interact with players based on their skills and progress.
By default, Deadpool is equipped with both a gun and a sword, but he also has access to giant hammers, plasma guns, and a host of other weapons. It is also possible to perform a series of short ranged teleports. Since it slowly crumbles when taking damage, the player must avoid additional damage to recover.
